I am, like many others, a victim of caring what people think (I mean, who isn’t?) Especially with all the social media that is around. Constantly questioning whether I should post an image which I like because it may not get ‘enough’ likes ?? What even is ‘enough’ likes ?? 50? 100? 200? I suppose it can vary for each individual. However, I do wish it was simple to just post an image which you like regardless of how many likes it will get.

Does anyone else feel that they need to post on Instagram because their “life looks boring” or they’ll “lose followers”? Because I definitely do. And I am SO bored of caring.
Your Instagram is your Instagram. No one else’s.
I know I am relating to Instagram a lot with this topic, but I think that is how I am effected the most and I think it is the same with a lot of people my age. I think we need to understand that people have opinions, people will talk about you. But they don’t know you, as long as you enjoy what you do and you are kind to yourself and to others then you should not care what anyone is saying about you.
It’s easier said than done, I know. I wish I could take my own advice.
Moving away from social media and into the real world is also a challenge. Going out and being you without caring what people around you think. Personally, I find this easier to do because I don’t know the people standing around me in a public place. But on my Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter there are people who ‘know’ me. But I get bored of caring, bored of worrying, If you want to wear something, wear it! If you want to post something, post it!
If they care enough to say something, they care too much.
Do you ever say to yourself, “I want to wear this but people might think I look weird” that’s just your mind telling you that people might think you look weird? There is no purpose for that thought being there.
Our mind can be cruel to us. So we have to train it!
